Has 2011 been good for you?

Hellos!
In a quite good mood today even though i'm kind of tired. Feeling the need to blog.
Today's the 8th day of Chinese New Year.
How has the new year been treating you?
Hopefully its doing well~
Now I'm retaking statistics and am trying real hard at the moment!
Actually I'm aiming for D-istinction so give me strength and luck~ :D
Nah today I actually feel like I can relax a lil since all assignments are about done :)

Since 2 years ago, I have been buying/collecting certain Japanese fashion magazines.
I buy them on a monthly basis. Two of them that I use to buy regularly is Cancam and Zipper.
The thing I like about Japanese magazines is the amount of content they provide.
Its a fashion magazine but they include lifestyle, skincare and other interesting articles.
Cancam is mainly targeted at young working females below the age of 25
I think Zipper targets a younger age group but to be honest I think these two magazines are of totally different genres.
Zipper is more individualistic and casual while Cancam focuses mainly on feminine looks for professional/casual days.
Why am I reading magazines of totally different genres.
Srsly. I am not too sure but now I choose to believe its 2 of my different personas.
I am usually more a Zipper 'girl' with denim and T-shirts/blouses. I work in a lab but this is more of an excuse/obstacle to dress up.
People in the lab actually ask if u're going on a date if you decide to dress up to work.
Trust me.
So, in a way my 'Cancam' persona meets an obstacle here.
Yes, I enjoy shopping. I cannot deny this, nobody can i suppose.
But I always refrain from posting any shopping buys in fear of 'contaminating' my personal blog.
Tracing back to 2006, you can see I mostly write lengthy assays of everyday or abstract short verses on emotional stuff I dnt wish to elaborate on.
As such, I never really post much shopping/pictures here.
So! Recently I cleared my past 2 years of Cancam and Zipper collection while keeping the interesting pages I want (ALOT!).
Thus, I have decided or rather would like to set up a blog to share tips from these two magazines! Plus, I will put all my shopping/fashion/skin care/makeup related stuff there ^^
Let's take it as a transition shall we?!
Build-up of courage, whatever you may call it.
I have not started thinking of what to put up as yet for the first post so it might take awhile~ probably it'll be up by March?*hopefully* ><
